Two Truly Great Americans or Two Forked
Tongue Senate Hacks. You Decide!

August 30, 2008

You want change? McCain decided to offer you REAL change we can believe in!

McCain is nothing if not unpredictable! Only hours after the Hollywood made for TV DNC pander fest ended, confirming Barack Hussein Obama as the first multiracial candidate for the executive branch, Republican John McCain upstaged lefties by announcing Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his vice presidential running mate.

No matter who wins in November, history will be made. However, there is a significant difference between the symbolism of a so-called “black” Obama campaign and the substance of the most popular political executive in America today, which just so happens to be a female and the only candidate of the four with actual executive experience on her résumé.

She was not chosen for her gender, but instead for her solid executive experience and her record as a real government reformer and the fact that she is our nation’s most popular governor didn’t hurt her any either.

Obama/Biden (with the help of Matthews, Olbermann, Gibson, Couric, Maher and Anderson) will attempt to downplay Palin’s résumé – as if Americans don’t already know that Palin is the only one of the four candidates with real executive experience, or that Obama is the most unqualified individual to ever seek the Oval Office.

Black voters, who have for decades ignored the fact that it was Republicans who ended slavery against the votes of Democrats at the time, will also ignore the fact that their “first black candidate” is only marginally more black than their “first black president,” Bill Clinton. Most will vote for Barockstar no matter what...and the facts have nothing whatsoever to do with it.

But after the not-so-democratic party derailed Hillary’s campaign by disenfranchising their own voters in Florida and Michigan just to force the symbolic chosen one upon the masses, will female voters ignore camp Obama’s efforts to torpedo yet another great female political leader on the rise?

At the end of the day, the “Two Senators Ticket” of Obama/Biden represents only the low inside the beltway approval ratings of the U.S. congress, which make Bush look popular. As we heard straight from their convention stage, the senate good ole boys represent the partisan backstabbing of the past, not any form of unifying change for the future. They have the knife out for Palin already!

On the other hand, a real life American hero has once again confounded conventional thinking and chosen a real life American running mate who has an unparalleled résumé as a hockey mom of five, a wife of twenty years, an executive reformer who not only sold the governor’s jet upon being elected governor, but stood up to special interests and even her own party in order to keep her promise to represent the best interests of her constituents...No wonder Obama and Biden hate her.

On one side is the same old symbolism and left-wingnut anti-American rhetoric and on the other, substance in two much more experienced political mavericks with a track record of shaking up the political status quo.

So, You Say Its Change You Want?

Who knew that the old dog was going to learn a few new tricks? Americans (at least Republicans) are indeed ready for the first female in the executive branch at the highest level. And I predict that Sarah won’t only make a great vice president, but soon a great president as well.

I have written for some years that Republicans would proudly vote for an American version of Margaret Thatcher. Palin is indeed a younger, better looking (sorry Maggie) version of Thatcher and Republicans will be proud to support her. So will many old Democrats and Independents not yet entranced by secular socialist sludge mainlined into them daily!

But more importantly, Palin represents real government reform as her entire political career is built upon that foundation, Life, Liberty and the right of every American to define and pursue Happiness under their own steam, without Washington elitists “wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them...” Jefferson

But Don’t Think The Left Won’t Attacker Her!

Before McCain could even introduce her in Dayton, Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton issued a blazing statement from camp Obama, “Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency.”

Well, what do ya know...? The not-so-democratic party “of the common people” lashed out with more classic Hillary Clinton treatment of yet another well qualified female candidate.

I’m starting to get the impression that “the party of the common man” doesn’t think much of average small town people, whom I assume “cling to their guns and bibles” in utter disdain for the very kind of inside the beltway elitists backstabbing that earned the current Democrat congress the lowest approval ratings in U.S. history.

Isn’t it interesting that the same people who have been telling us that Obama’s blank presidential résumé is no problem, are now telling us that Palin (a female like Clinton) is unqualified to be vice president because “she has no foreign policy experience” and has only been mayor of a small town and governor of Alaska.

According to camp Obama, Palin’s nine years of executive experience is not enough, even though Obama and Biden have none at all. Palin has been a very successful governor for two years. Obama has been an absentee freshman senator for 143 days...Palin is unqualified?

Which town was Obama or Biden mayor of again? Which state was it that Obama or Biden earned their executive wings in? Oh yeah, I remember now...NONE!

Sarah Palin knows exactly what kind of low-life attacks she signed up for when she agreed to join McCain on the ticket. After all, Palin watched as Howard Dean, Obama and the Washington DNC elite torched Hillary’s campaign and went so far as to disenfranchise their own voters just to keep Hillary from winning the nomination. Sarah should expect better treatment?

But I feel confident that the “moose hunting barracuda” can handle the spineless likes of junkyard bully Joe Biden and Barockstar Obama. As a matter of fact, the immediate low-classed attack from the Obambi campaign demonstrates just how intimidated they are by McCain’s choice of running mates...

I bet Sarah won’t let these two senate elitists bully her out of the race the way Hillary did…

I must say, as McCain’s first executive decision, he’s on the right track now!
