Taking the U.S. Over the Edge
January 29, 2010
It's very obvious that Barack Obama and his
Administration are simply hell-bent on taking the
United States over the edge into socialism. Far
enough over that there's no possibility of turning
back.
Giving known terrorist sympathizers Tariq Ramadan
and Adam Habib entry into the United States is bad
enough. It's even more troubling when the White
House and Justice Department give known "enemy
combatant" terrorists the same rights as an American
citizen! In this case, the lack of Miranda and "waterboarding"
will cause the court to declare all statements and
evidence against all defendants to be "fruit of the
poisoned tree." The terrorists will walk out of
court laughing and they're supporters in the street
will use the occasion to pound out a recruiting
drive that will strengthen enemies and weaken
America.
And in the shadow of all that, what does the White
House and State Department do? They give Interpol an
invitation into the U.S. and extend them a
near-complete immunity. An immunity which is denied
to and wouldn't even be considered appropriate for
American police!
What in the world is going on here? Does the White
House, President and State Department not know that
some members of INTERPOL are "agents" of nations,
factions and nationalities who consider themselves
"at war" with the United States?
Most "agents" in Interpol would have no more idea
how to handle a service sidearm or pair of handcuffs
under our set of laws, than fly to the top of Mt.
Everest for a pin-point landing. Traditionally. the
vast majority of INTERPOL has functioned in an
intelligence gathering capacity. They make up the
links of the chain, connect the dots and call local
authorities to make arrests, provide security and
incarcerate offenders. But in the United States,
apparently, all that may very well change. The
immunity given to INTERPOL agents by the Obama
Administration falls just short of "diplomatic
immunity" which is a very powerful tool for evil in
the wrong hands. Foreign diplomats have been
expelled rather than charged for sexual assault,
traffic accidents that caused injury to citizens as
well as other things that would have routinely
caused the incarceration of an average citizen.
In addition, INTERPOL is NOT made up of trained
police officers and they're definitely not trained
to the level that American police are. Run from a
policeman in most "developing nations" and the
policeman shoots you in the back. That's not
acceptable here and is rightly considered murder in
the United States. But now, INTERPOL can do that and
get away with it!
Likewise INTERPOL agents could commit some act which
is totally against American law, board an aircraft,
claim immunity and be out of the country before
anyone could challenge it. Let me get this straight.
Now Interpol may have "immunity" to enforce
"International Law" and extradite American citizens?
Is that correct Mister President? If you gave
Interpol agents "immunity" when they grab an
American and chivvy them onto an aircraft to take
them to some "developing nation" hellhole...what
exactly do you and the State Department intend to do
about it Mr. President and Ms. Secretary of State?
Has the State Department, The President, any of his
Administration or Legal Advisers read the American
Constitution? Don't they all know that it's against
the Constitution to "give away sovereign powers" to
any foreign agent or government? Hmmm...Apparently
not. How sad.
I guess Barack Obama, as his next "major
reconciliation with the world" will instead of
acting like the President of the United States, will
sign an agreement with the International Criminal
Court. At which point the ICC will sweep in and
scoop up George W. Bush and haul him off. All so
terrorists can testify at his trial for "crimes
against humanity."
Wait...I'd better not give President Obama any ideas
here.
The President needs new ideas to succeed, and he's
not getting them with his ever-present "blame-Bush,
economic disaster, and World apology" tour.
President Obama isn't getting good advice from any
of his advisers or "czars." And so far, he appears
long on talk and lacking in completion. To all too
many today in the United States, President Obama's
"change" isn't headed anywhere but over the nearest
cliff.
That might change prior to November 2010 and the
President and his party definitely need to turn it
around by 2012. But I believe that the American
memory has suddenly been lengthened by an
eye-opening dose of both tax-victimization and
frustration. Given the current feeling across the
political landscape, the American voter will declare
themselves tired of misdirected and unspecified
"change."
