Now That the Democrats Have Usurped the Constitution...
March 23, 2010

I'm not sure the passage by the House of the Senate Healthcare Reform Bill helps anyone other than those with preexisting conditions. It will not lower costs, nor cover the millions that do not currently have coverage. Also, all 50 states have programs to help cover those that cannot afford coverage. That was always a farce.

The goal is to trap the middle class into an entitlement that they will not be able to get rid of later. It will force millions to buy coverage or be fined however. So much for freedom and liberty.

They:

▪ Did nothing on tort reform, with caps on lawsuit payouts and penalties for frivolous lawsuits Did NOTHING on Medical Arbitration that would lower dispute costs and streamline the system.

▪ Did nothing on portability,

▪ Did nothing on a plan for fair and open pricing, Did NOTHING on increasing competition and allowing the marketplace to dictate price control, Did NOTHING on allowing states to determine what is right for their much different demographics and needs.

▪ Did nothing on anything that would address wellness or promoting health in general and only focused on the treatment of illness once sick. Promoting general health, such as bringing back 5 day PE in schools, tax credits for nutritional counseling and fitness memberships, etc., would have a huge effect on reducing costs and premiums and is simple to do and would save millions on Medicare and Medicaid

They did cut Medicare benefits.

They did raise taxes on middle class, payroll taxes, the wealthy, and almost anything else they could tax.

They will increase the deficit

They did continue to protect the pharmaceutical companies though. Maybe I should open one of those. (Watch           their stock rise next week)

They did take away some of your freedoms and liberties and effectively replaced "Equal Opportunity” with "Equal Results” regardless of effort They did make major strides to achieving a one party system in the US by pushing to get the majority of Americans dependent on one form of entitlement or another.

The real problem of the bill whether you support it or are against it is that nobody on either side can predict what will really happen. The taxes will go into effect Monday, and you may see the benefits (if any) in 4 years.

The reality is that any bill written by Republicans or Democrats at 3000 pages is impossible to interpret and implement. Once it goes out to 50 states and all of the different groups, interests, and courts, it will spawn thousands of lawsuits. These, after the American taxpayer spends billions to defend against, will alter much of the bill and redefine, remove, or add other provisions.

Congress has created a Frankenstein that will spawn 10's of thousands of pages of new legislation because of the inability to accurately and consistently define what this bill does. It will be interpreted by the courts and rewritten by the courts.

After years of lawsuits and modifications you will find out what your Congress just did to you or for you. That alone is reason enough to force them to start over and craft a much simpler bill that is precise and easy to interpret.

Now that the Democrats have thrown out the Constitution and are now ruling over Americans instead of governing with them, ask them for this:

Now that they have set by precedent, that the American people should be forced against their will to pay for abortions in a community pool of tax dollars, I assume they would add an addendum to the bill that would force all Americans to also put money into a community pool to pay for firearms for all Americans who are currently unarmed and unable to afford proper firearms. We could then guarantee that 100% of American households are properly armed, after all it’s a right not a privilege. Where have we heard that before?
