President Obama, Do You Remember Your Oath?
September 14, 2009

Mr. President, please sit down and remain silent—for at least one week. Your vocal meanderings are not only becoming tiresome but are now repetitive falsehoods, broken promises and violations of your oath of office.

I will remain unrepentant, unlike Congressman Joe Wilson from South Carolina, because I do not believe Americans must apologize for disagreeing with someone, even the US President. Your policies are stifling, self-serving and for what we the people know to be contrary to the form of government chosen by this country.

Troublesome is the escalation of hiring “czars” and special advisors who are Socialists or far left radicals (by their own admission) left over from the 1960s. Even more troublesome is the increasing number of practicing avowed Communists among your choices, like Van Jones.

Your policies are an affront to the intelligence of patriotic, loyal Americans. These same policies and legislated inequities are a consistent contradiction of words spoken in your speeches from the campaign trail to the present.

The latest was the stand on healthcare by your administration. Congress is using the same tired “blame game.” When will Democrats take responsibility for their own actions, especially the mistakes? The Bush Administration is ancient history. The policies enacted by the 111th Congress, or more specifically, unsuccessful measures enacted supposedly to correct President Bush’s errors, are failing just as badly despite protests to the contrary.

I am an unapologetic patriot of the United States by direct lineage to those who fought for American independence and established this near perfect Constitutional Republic. As one of their progeny and others who came before me in all the ensuing wars and conflicts in defense and protection of our Constitution, I will stand for and abide by their oaths taken from then to the present. I will not follow any other form of government other than the Republic created by our Charters of Freedom – The Declaration of Independence, Constitution and The Articles of Confederation – nor will I support any policies or form of government which stands for the opposition to, or the destruction of that Republic.

I took the same oath as a member of US Navy, US Army Ready Reserve and Federal Civil Service that every US President, member of all past and present Congresses, US Civil Service and member of the U.S. Military are required to swear.

There is one significant difference, however; “to the best of my ability” is not in the oath for members of the military. It is readily accepted that we in the service of this country will, when required, give our lives in defense of this country and our Constitution.

The citizens of the United States expect no less from their President and members of Congress than to, at the least, reject special interests when enacting fair legislation and serving the best interests of the Republic and electorate. When laws are enacted that serve only the interests of members of Congress or special contributors to Congress, a deviation exists from the intended purpose and constitutes a violation of their oath of office. When a president signs such a bill or law, he or she, is also in violation of his/her oath of office. These transgressions seriously weaken provisions of all three components of The Charters of Freedom.

The United State Constitution asserts whenever a form of government becomes, in essence, destructive to the purpose and ends of the accepted form in place, the people have the right to alter or abolish it, and reinstitute the previous accepted government i.e. our Constitutional Republic.

Media announcements indicate you taught US Constitutional law while at the University of Chicago. This is puzzling in view of the form of government emanating from your administration.

The objective of policies being administrated now without convening a Continental Congress, is in contravention to all three components of The Charters of Freedom. You are attempting to institute a type of government which has left nearly every country on this planet in total poverty and controlled by tyrannical Oligarchies.
