Socialism, Failure & Harsh Reality
April 28, 2009

Socialism, like a tick or leech, grows fat on the blood of its host until the host dies. The greatest socialist experiments of modern times had an outward and initial appearance of success. That initial success seduced many people into ignoring the later realities that proved socialism is the brutal playground for amoral leaders and intellectuals. Europe’s current love affair with socialism is beginning to reveal the sinister intentions of the ruling elite and the ugly consequences of making poor decisions. The host is dying and the elite know it.

The initial success of Nationalist Socialism in Germany, Fascism in Italy and of Communism in the Soviet Union and China were totally dependent on the seizure of resources and assets accumulated under capitalism. The creation of new capital and capital assets then became a political decision, not an economic one decided by a free market. Germany got "guns and butter”. Italy’s trains ran on time. Russia and China got steel mills and collectives. These apparent successes hid the costs that were paid in human lives and misery.

Germany, Italy, the Soviet Union and China could not sustain their socialist economies without war and slavery. First, they declared war on their internal opponents, looting their property and putting them to work in forced labor camps. The more that were worked to death the better, since that would mean fewer mouths to feed, clothe and shelter. When the internal resources had been plundered, each nation stole what they did not have by acts of aggression against their neighbors. Eastern and Western Europe, Libya and Ethiopia, Tibet and India have all suffered because of their neighbors’ failed socialist systems.

Every socialist state makes war on its own people first, whether it’s the outright arrest and enslavement of political opponents or the class warfare promoted in so-called socialist democracies. Every socialist state plunders the wealth built by capitalism until it is exhausted. Every so-called democratic socialist state panders to a slim majority for approval to steal from a minority. Every so-called democratic socialist state maintains a slave labor class to be exploited economically and used politically to keep the elite in power.

European socialist have just about exhausted the resources built by capitalism and are importing the slave labor class required to sustain their economies. The Muslim’s in Europe are second class citizens, deliberately kept in economic despair so that other citizens may enjoy the "fruits of socialism”, or more appropriately the labor of an exploited minority. Europe’s socialist elite however, have made a serious miscalculation about Islam and their ability to seduce Muslim’s. Rioting in Paris, rape in Scandinavia, mosques in England and "no-go” Muslim neighborhoods were not part of the elite plan for European socialism. Muslims are not about to abandon their culture, morality and values wholesale as so many Europeans have.

The blueprint for American socialism is not that much different than the model offered by Europe. Once the wealth of capitalism has been consumed, a slave labor class of second class citizens must keep the economy afloat. That class of citizen is already here in the form of illegal immigrants. They are proving to be just as much of a problem for their American socialist masters as are the Muslim’s of Europe for their European socialist masters.

America’s worthless class is in line for free everything; health care, education, food, housing, transportation, HDTV coupons and whatever Obama and company can promise them. How much more will they demand? America’s slave labor class is already toiling in the fields to provide cheap lettuce, landscaping, housekeepers, wood decks and menial services. How much longer before they rebel? America’s working class is caught in the middle and paying for what the other classes claim they want and need. The temptation to switch sides and get on the receiving line rather than the giving line is great. How much longer will they resist?

Socialism will fail no matter where it is tried. Human nature screams "I want a better life.” Socialism screams back "I’ll give it to you.” Reality whispers "There is no free lunch. Someone has to do the work.” Reality may not be heard, but it always has the last word.
