Our country is truly and profoundly in danger, as our President and Homeland Securitry Secretary Janet Napolitano have reminded us. As you may know by now, we are surrounded by a sea of domestic terrorists, just waiting to do us in or blow things up. Don’t you dare go out to dinner alone if you’re an NRA member, you might get murdered. Don’t even think about having coffee with anyone who is a Vet or pro-life, your throat will get slit. Your co-worker who wants fiscal responsibility from government...well, watch your back!
Granted, even the recent Homeland Security report identifying so many
patriots across our land as potential terrorists at least had the
honesty – albeit of the kindergarten level – to say they had no
statistics, no facts, no proof of that...they were just operating on
theories and speculation.
It’s fascinating, I think, that we are now forbidden from talking about our "war with Islamic fundamentalists,” "radical Islam” or "terrorists.” Now we are fighting the ever so sensitive and meaningless, "Overseas Contingency Operation.” We have heard speech after speech from the Obama Administration about how we are not to be insensitive and inflammatory by using terms like "terrorist.” For that matter, President Obama declared to the Muslim world at the G20 Conference that we would never attack Islam. Apparently he had called the Psychic Hotline, which, incidentally, is no longer in operation.
The fascinating part in all this is that with all the coercion, manipulation and insistence that we not use the term "terrorism,” that is precisely how the Homeland Security report identifies the made up homegrown dangers. We are "domestic terrorists.” No need to be sensitive there! For that matter, the report is a based in supposition, so why be sensitive? Only to fundamentalist Muslims worldwide are we to be ever so sensitive, even as they scheme to advance Sharia across the globe. Of course, they do so in-between our Pastors, returning Vets, pro-lifers, those who advocate for sovereignty and state’s rights, Second Amendment supporters, Christians and TEA Party attendees, blowing up buildings, attacking children, burning down clinics and planning assassinations!
It would seem that a new malady is emerging within our society and there are so many now it is becoming hard to keep track. Let me see...Islamophobia, Homophobia, racism...now, drum roll please...terroristaphobia. Honestly, it’s all too much for me, so much so that I have concluded there isn’t enough medication for me to handle it all. Back to the things of "domestic terrorists.” Maybe I’ll go to a pro-Constitution rally. |
