Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Somewhere over the Rainbow, lies are through
And bay mice that are funded die in a vat of glue.
Somewhere over the Rainbow, way up high,
There is black in a budget, not one just built on lies.
Someday I wish upon a man and wake up where the countries far behind me.
Where troubles build like green slime pops way above the warming tops
That’s where you’ll blind me.
Somewhere, over the rainbow, freedom still flies,
Some people still make money, why then oh why can’t I?
Our country is stuck on a stupid, endless refrain of Somewhere Over
the Rainbow as we dream and wish at the feet of our President. Who
cares if the “Wicked Witch of the East” is shredding our rights and
freedoms?
With vivid naiveté we disassemble our Constitution and Republic and
pretend it is much needed “progress” and “change.” After all, our
president and leadership tell us we have to absorb trillions more in
debt – unnecessarily – to save our economy. Now they are talking
about “Stimulus II.” Of course, we are told this addition debt would be
“only temporary.” Yes, it is temporary...much like the amputation of
your left leg would only be a “temporary” hurdle in trying to ski down
Mount Everest.
Somewhere over the rainbow this administration understands their
priorities, I need to assume. While funding bridges to bars, high-speed
trains between lesser populated destinations, underground green turtle
tunnels and protection for special mice with San Francisco value, they
made sure to – in a time of war and with threats from Iran, North Korea
and the world’s population of Islamist radicals – that military spending
on defense programs and weapons development is cut to bare bones. Why
don’t we just cut the entire military budget and give our troops tinker
toys, a free membership to Oprah’s fan club and dress our infantry in
bikinis? After all, somewhere over the rainbow we don’t believe in evil
and we can talk, cajole and, well, “work it out...”
The September 11th terrorists certainly “worked it out...”
It is time that the small, whirling farm house from Kansas drops on
those who put America last! We must wake up now, well before the
mid-term elections and work harder than ever to win back the House and
Senate! We can do it if those of you reading this will assert some
leadership in your own cities and states. Cultivate and support real
public servants with vision, dedication and courage. If there isn’t
anyone you respect in your area...suck it up and run yourself!
Here
under the rainbow, in the land of reality, we are a free, capitalist,
achievement oriented Republic. Obama is transforming the US into a
submissive, one-world, socialist colony of the one-world order that
submits to the whims of the “evil witch” and her “flying congressional
monkeys.” Patriots, snap out of it and throw some water! |
