Gangster Government
March 30, 2010

"Let me remind you this has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you're going to pass legislation that will cover 300 (million) American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.” – US Rep. John Dingell (D-MI)

The Democrat Socialists have finally done it. The President has signed it. They have succeeded in stealing one of America’s central freedoms, the right to choose, not only a doctor but also a choice of treatment, and in so doing, they will control our lives from the cradle to the grave. This was always their goal. Now a massive government bureaucracy that consumes trillions of taxpayer dollars will manipulate the health and welfare issues that concern the citizen the most. They will use this power to herd us toward their utopian vision, one that can be seen in Chicago and DC, in LA and St. Louis, in New Orleans and Detroit and in every Democrat-controlled state and city. There is no record of success to comfort us; no legacy validates the abundant promises, but there is much that should terrify us. The disasters of social engineering and ideology-driven legislation are evident in every Democrat-run corner of this country that is failing from corruption, overspending and criminal neglect. Their promises are lies and their policies will not make America a better place. They never do.

Government healthcare will be the greatest disaster ever orchestrated by America’s domestic enemies in our lifetime, but it is only part of the picture. New absurdities come out of the Obama administration at a frantic pace. Their agenda is clear--weaken the US everywhere, at every level. We have seen proposed reductions in Coast Guard personnel, a proposed immigration amnesty, a proposed moratorium on off shore drilling, outrageous deceits on healthcare and the ensuing bribery for votes, debilitating tax increases, lies in congressional testimony, funding of criminal organizations like ACORN, government positions for union thugs, a homeland security positions for Islamists, show hearings of an automotive competitor Toyota, appointments of radical anti-American ideologues to government, and monumental unsustainable disastrous overspending. The list of transgressions is so long it defies comprehension and it grows daily.

It sounds like the playlist of an organized crime family, the mafia or a drug cartel. All the standard criminal activity is there--extortion, kickbacks, bribes, intimidation, racketeering, black-mail, misappropriation, profiteering, nepotism, fraud, pay-to-play, under-the-table deals, subversion--and I am sure I will think of some more. They are political grifters. A survey of recent corruption indictments nationwide gives us clear evidence despite the cover provided by a partisan Department of Justice. The Socialist Democrats are a crime family, the most powerful crime family in human history.

They do not believe in the utopian revolution they sell to their base. That is the swindle, the tool, to animate their idealistic foot soldiers and the vapid sheep that believe their promises. They know the key to long-term power, the James Carville "Rule for 40 Years” kind of power, depends on the deconstruction of America’s constitutional institutions. The real power brokers are cynical manipulators that use the credulous left for their own purposes. They could care less about the poor or disadvantaged. Obama is their best creation. His presidency was choreographed, as was his façade of moderation by our most tenacious internal enemies. The George Soros elites, our unelected politburo of the wealthy left that pulls his puppet strings and profits from our fall, they manipulate and control the press to alter our perceptions. They poison the debate with disinformation and blatant propaganda. They are an insidious fifth column as dangerous as any terrorist or radical group, for they weaken us like a wasting disease and make us vulnerable to fatal infections.

It is no surprise that Chicago, with the most diseased political structure in the nation, nurtured Obama’s rise to power. It is a city of congenital corruption unchanged despite a century of enlightened advocacy by "community organizers” and wide-eyed "progressives” where gangsters co-opt the leftists who flock there with tangible power. The chatter of academics transforms into vicious gutter politics and insurgent fifth column tactics. It is a natural alliance. As revolutionaries, academics are cowards, the equivalent of dorm room radicals with mortgages and a taste for chardonnay and arugula. Like so many silly revolutionary movements born of the universities, they talk the big talk, but cannot walk to the corner without tripping. This makes them the natural allies of gangsters, thugs and arm breakers whose vicious efficiency they admire and whose ethical voids are easy to ignore or justify using Alinsky’s "these ends justify these means”.

They tap into the worst of human nature, the "get some” and "got mine” selfishness painted as "rights” and "justice”. "Ethical standards must be elastic to stretch with the times,” Alinsky said in ‘Rules for Radicals’ and today’s leftist progressive is a moral acrobat without shame or conscience. Obama’s ridiculous policies are cobbled together from the confluence of the ideological and the criminal, a mish mash of ill-informed opinions, failed political doctrines and leftist prejudices rife with blind anti-Americanism, all held together by power mad advisors, unabashed radical gangsters who have found a conduit to the soft underbelly of the nation, its government.

We are at a dangerous crossroad, where two vastly different cultures face off. One is born of the legacy of a great nation, an exception to human history, the oldest surviving democratic republic, a force for good, a shining light upon the hill that has miraculously survived two centuries and draws the world’s best and brightest to its freedoms. The other arises from the darkness of the human soul; it has no God and no conscience. It seeks to destroy what it cannot corrupt, and it turns language itself on its head. It is not "progressive”, it drags us down. It does not bring justice; its policies are profoundly unjust. It is not compassionate; it steals the prosperity and dignity from its victims. It is a system of failure with a long history of failure. Yet America’s neo-communist left thinks they are somehow immune to reality, that they can hand us the gilded lump of totalitarian clay, polished to keep the peasants complacent.

In this battle, there is no middle ground. The conflict is crystalline, no less than freedom versus oppression. The socialists have not brought armies, they have brought deceit and subterfuge, and the end result will be as disastrous for America as a civil war. They have planted the seeds of catastrophe, and "We the People” must root them out. It begins now, not in November and not in 2012. If we are patriots, we must take to the streets, we must carry signs, we must disobey and we must resist. We must shake the foundations of our nation. We cannot accept tyranny. We cannot hand over what was so lovingly built and so valiantly fought for. We must shout, "It is not yours and you cannot take it! " The ballot box is our weapon. If we lose this battle, we will face armies, and America will be a memory, its legacy edited out of history books by smiling tyrants who destroyed us for our own good and made our children slaves.
