Clouds Still Hover Over Presidential
Election
December 18, 2008
"From Watergate we
learned what generations before us have known; our Constitution works.
And during Watergate years it was interpreted again so as to reaffirm
that no one - absolutely no one - is above the law.” -- Leon
Jaworski, Watergate Special Prosecutor.
As our republic
embarks on a new presidential term of office, it faces a new kind of
constitutional
crisis. This new crisis to the republic plus an atmosphere of
distrust arises from corrupted, power hungry politicians and their
accomplices, the big media.
Special interest abuses and partisan bias in the
administration of justice are shameful acts of the servants of the
people who have forgotten they have taken a sacred oath to defend and
protect the Constitution of the United States of America against all
enemies, foreign and domestic.
When individuals make
mistakes, the consequences are limited. However, when our elected
officials make mistakes, the results can be catastrophic. It is
disheartening to see the world’s best hope for freedom and democracy,
the United States of America, make a gross mistake at this crucial
juncture. Once again, America is at a critical point and facing troubles
from within and in several hotspots of the world.
The Constitution of the United States clearly states
three requirements
to become the President
of the United States. The person must be 35 years of age. The
constitution requires 14 years of residency and finally, the most
important of all, he/she must be a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. Let us once
again remind ourselves that "the authority of government lies entirely
and irrevocably within the Body of The Whole, We The People.”
The Constitution that
has protected the rights of every individual and our freedom for more
than 200 years is now in a greater danger of being obliterated than at
any time in our history. We must be grateful for those brave and
patriotic souls who fought and perished to protect and defend this
country and its Constitution.
So, who are the
antagonists that are now threatening our protagonists who have long
defended the constitution? There are a number of elements that are
threatening this country at the moment but the greatest of all has to do
with the presidency of the United States. The president-elect has
uncompromisingly refused to provide an authentic birth certificate to
prove that he indeed is a
natural born U.S. citizen. As far as Americans are concerned, until
the President-elect comes clean with that document as required by the
United States Constitution, this newly elected president is a complete
fraud and everything he does or says becomes automatically annulled or
unlawful. He will be incapable of dealing with major issues.
"I know that Mr. Obama
is not a constitutionally qualified natural born citizen and is
ineligible to assume the office of President of the United States,"
Philip J. Berg said in a statement on his
ObamaCrimes.com website.
"Obama knows he is not
'natural born' as he knows where he was born and he knows he was adopted
in Indonesia. Obama is an attorney, Harvard Law graduate who taught
Constitutional law; Obama knows his candidacy is the largest 'hoax'
attempted on the citizens of the United States in over 200 years. Obama
places our Constitution in a 'crisis' situation and Obama is in a
situation where he can be blackmailed by leaders around the world who
know Obama is not qualified,"
Philip J. Berg's statement continued.
"Should Senator Obama
be discovered, after he takes office, to be ineligible for the Office of
President of the United States of America and, thereby, his election
declared void," argues the
Alan Keyes case pending in California, "Americans will suffer
irreparable harm in that (a) usurper will be sitting as the President of
the United States, and none of the treaties, laws, or executive orders
signed by him will be valid or legal."
Some
incredulous defenders, who are wholeheartedly enamored with
President-elect, Obama, laugh and say that Americans have long
entertained themselves with egregious conspiracy theories and yet, what
would happen if evidence proves that such conspiracy might actually be
true? And by the way, "the Constitution gives every
American the inalienable right to make a damn fool of himself,” said
John Ciardi.
Elected and non-elected
U.S. officials constantly test the tolerance and trust of the American
public, trying to find out how much they can get away with and how much
they can manipulate the public. It is not just a few scoundrel
officials, overcome by greed or zeal, who pose an episodic threat. The
body of the entire system of our institutions is becoming reprehensible,
in both execution and intent and by
obstruction of justice.
Today,
millions of Americans question a conspiracy to overthrow the
Constitution or those in higher powers are playing a game of tug o' war
with the nation. They question if this is indeed a conscious and
deliberate effort to bypass the law of the land and ignore the will of
the American people to find out the truth. American people deserve an
answer.
Thomas Jefferson once
suggested that "we ought to have a revolution every 20 years and that
the Tree of Liberty needed to be occasionally watered with the blood of
patriots.”
Although I have immense
respect for Thomas Jefferson, the primary author of the Declaration of
Independence, I do not agree that we should have a bloody revolution
every 20 years in order to show the government who’s the real boss. Yet,
I believe the American people must be more vigilant and participate more
in our political process. After all, we the people have created the
government. And we, the people, cannot let them get away with
dishonesty. We cannot bend the Constitution a little for expedience of
others.
There is an interesting
story I just read about a Congressman who didn’t want to argue against a
piece of proposed legislation that would be a violation of the
Constitution. This member of Congress once said, "If I insisted on
complying with the Constitution, I wouldn’t stay in Congress very long.”
So, in effect, the provisions of the Constitution become compromised by
the climate of political change. Once a precedence has been established
to violate their oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the
constitution with impunity, the practice continues at full strength.
Every American must
show his or her Birth Certificate, for variety of reasons, in order to
prove his or her identity. Is the President-elect, Barack Obama an
exception to the rule? Is the President-elect going to voluntarily come
forward and prove that he is indeed a natural born U.S. citizen or we
are headed for a constitutional crisis that will end in an
Obamagate?
Edward Everett Hale wisely said, "I am only one, but I am one. I
cannot do everything, but I can do something. And because I cannot do
everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do. What I
can do, I should do. And what I should do, by the grace of God, I will
do.”
