A Few Buttons Missing

It was Lawrence Reed, President of the Foundation for Economic Education in Irvington, New York and also former President of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in Midland , Michigan who wrote, "The pork-laden national disgrace being sold as a "stimulus bill” may say more about the country that swallows it than it does those who passed it. If Americans can be suckered into shackling themselves and future generations with trillions of dollars in new debt, shame on us.”

Yes, and if America can be sold into allowing the hard leftists of our land to pushing down its throat a series of unread bills which will bankrupt its future for generations to come then one might say that through our dysfunctional educational system there has been success in the socialists indoctrination process whereby our people have no concept as to the difference between the free enterprise system, socialism and communism. We are in the throes of a cultural dissonance never before seen in this country. The indoctrination has come full circle.

Democrats may take offense at this assertion, but to do so they will have to counter the remarks of James Steele, Communist Party USA Legislative Director in the eighties who said, "In the absence of a mass-based third party, it is possible and necessary for the people's movement to make use of the Democratic Party in the struggle for reforms.” Let’s face it...the Democrat Party was, is and has become the party of Lenin.

And now with the stimulus package we find a paradox in terms. To continue expenditures at a minimum rate of one third more than projected income and being called a stimulant to the economy is probably one of the most disastrous fiscal strategies ever devised by man. That is just the tip of the iceberg and should not be surprising. The so-called stimulus bill, without even being read, was passed in the House and the Senate in a manner suggestive of tyranny. A hodge-podge of Socialist pork is expected to stimulate the economy as gasoline thrown on a fire is expected to extinguish the flames. These are our elected officials who wish to completely control our property, our money, our labor and our lives

The aim is not to pull out of the deficit. The aim is to continue on a tried and true road to economic failure since in so doing it will require more and more taxation which will of certainty wipe out the money from most and eventually destroy the middle class. This, of course, leads to more dependency on government. A government which now implies that it has a right to an unlimited claim on the wealth of all people.

The same as with the red herring thrown to our gullible and ill-informed news media as the Health Care Reform Bill. The total framework has nothing to do with medical insurance for all as it has to do with more governmental power over the lives of people. Their lack of caring for human life was adequately depicted when it was evident that part of the package included death panels. Yes, you sit down with government incompetent lackeys and discuss how and when you wish to die.

Obama explains why we must spend more federal money and go further into debt. He said that "We must make strategic investments that will serve as a down payment on our long term economic future.” As a former group work therapist in a mental hospital I can vouch for the fact that I had mental patients who were more lucid than that. Couple that to what his vice president has been quoted as saying.. "We have to spend more money to keep from going bankrupt. However, it’s acceptable to become bankrupt because that will save us from a national catastrophe.” His having said that is believable only because this particular president has surrounded himself with the most unbelievable, corrupt, and least informed characters ever placed in the Cabinet of a President of the United States. This great leader has surrounded himself with the crud of the crowd.

It is evident that Obama has not the capacity, the scope, the ideas, the experience nor the machismo to develop and present this socialistic/communistic program alone. Perceiving his approach to any podium is like watching a deer caught in the headlights. He stares and is frozen. Without his prompters, both mechanical and human he has no clear cut plan or concept of any program he is addressing or pushing.
But he tells it well. Whatever it is.

The following unsavory characters have stood tall in the limelight. Amongst his stalwarts are disgraced Governors: Eliot Spitzer (NY), Jim McGreevy (NJ), Bill Richardson (NM) and Rod Blagoievich (IL). These are followed by tax cheats: Former Senator Tom Daschle ($128,000), Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner ($34,000), Congressman Charlie Rangle ($5,000), and others whom the ethics committee doesn’t thus far appear to find out of line. Can you picture this individual being advised by those who were primarily responsible for the Wall Street meltdown as were Congressman Barney Frank, Sen. Chris Dodd, and former Treasury Secretary (then co-chairman of CitiGroup) Robert Rueben? We have seen these pseudo protagonists on tape vouching for the stability of the Fannie Maes, the Freddie Macs and the Lehman Bros. while refusing to allow anyone to investigate and secure.

They all have one thing in common. They are all members of the same political party, which sustains and continues to ignore a widespread culture of corruption. Today this group still calls itself the democrat party but in fact that party was openly taken over about the time of the Korean and Vietnam wars when it sided against our troops and insidiously encouraged our enemies. In time, history will depict that this present party which could be aptly named the Socialist Party of the United States, will make the Vichy of WW II France and the Quislings of Norway look like pikers.

We are temporarily locked in to the decisions of a bevy of misfits as they work strenuously not only to change our country into an intimacy and likeness of the third world but to devising plans for weakening our total defenses to the unpreparedness of the Franklin Roosevelt regime and the mediocrity of the Jimmy Carter era .

While General Stanley McChrystal has stated that a counterinsurgency plan which will give us final success in Afghanistan and requires 40,000 more troops immediately his Commander in Chief who wouldn’t know a trooper from a grouper danced off to Denmark to shill for Daley in Chicago for the next Olympics to be held there. He required his own 747 plus a second plane probably for all his Czars. His wife left separately with her own entourage in a 757 and when you add all the correspondents in another plane plus a military airplane squadron for security you can see where the Olympics in Chicago and Daley’s stomping are more important than intelligent decisions for a military strategy in Afghanistan. According to reports this junket cost us well over one million dollars.

He was solidly rebuffed in Copenhagen and returned home with tail between his legs to his adoring pathetics as they devised jargon to blame all this on George Bush. The world leaders tended to understand that a man who has constantly debased his own country on the global stage could not be much of a leader nor could he be trusted. In not having the sense to understand that he was virtually kicked out of Europe, his statement from the White House as rationale for this setback was, "I'm proud I was able to come in and help make the case in person.
I believe it's always a worthwhile endeavor to promote and boost the United States of America and invite the world to see what we're all about." Conveniently forgetting, of course, that in all his overseas trips he missed no opportunity to demean our country. In order to divert attention elsewhere he and his inner circle, at the time of this writing, are now devising plans for another stimulus bill which will act as a safety net for all those who suffered under the first stimulus bill. It’s time to pin point the location of a few buttons missing.

He has allowed Hillary the luxury of using our defense shield as a bartering item. He is bargaining to cut our defense shield from countries in Europe including strategic Poland and the Czech Republic. He has started diminishing the financial support for all our defense research efforts in most departments because of an alleged lack of funds while throwing trillions into a snake pit.

He is throwing out feelers and tightening the noose on all our military in various ways such as the newly revealed Veterans Administration (VA) directive which mandates all veterans' primary care physicians must graphically discuss "end of life planning" with all VA patients (not merely those nearing death), and must refer them to "Your Life, Your Choices," a book that openly encourages Euthanasia . In Michigan a doctor was sent to jail for openly practicing and espousing it.

He is seeking a methodology for our veterans to pay their own medical bills due to service induced injuries: dunning veterans for their armaments and GI gear which may have been lost in battle or left behind when wounded; Cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting; He surreptitiously is finding ways to further repress and depress our fighting men and women by possible issuance of a ban on not smoking. As with his party, he will do all that he can to keep our military personnel beyond the reach of the ballot box.

The politically ignorant have elected a boy to do a man’s job. They have given our car keys to a 3 year old. Letting this individual loose to run around the world demeaning his military and his country is like forgetting an uncapped marker in the washing machine and wondering why all the clothes are coming out tainted. Basically, a new low in legislative stupidity and a new high in presidential idiocy.

His recent election as the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize further emphasizes its comic standing as a viable award on the world stage. That’s another tale of tragedy on the global scene with more to follow later.

This president (and I use the word loosely) and his cronies are the greatest evidence for the validity of term limits in our country for all politicians. John Adams recognized this when he stated, "Without it (term limits) every man in power becomes a ravenous beast of prey.”
