of John Forbes Kerry

It never stops with the Kerry campaign. The spin, the vagueness, the
insincerity, it never stops. If John Kerry isn’t voting for funding the
troops before he is voting against it he’s protesting a war and claiming he
and others committed atrocities and war crimes while later making all of his
actions during the "illegal war” the centerpiece of his presidential
campaign. Now comes the impossible -to verify contention that John Kerry’s
1968 "mission” to Cambodia was so top, top secret that even the Pentagon
wouldn’t dare keep paperwork on the "mission.” How stupid does the Kerry
campaign think the American people are?
"During John Kerry's service in Vietnam, many times he was on or near the
Cambodian border and on one occasion crossed into Cambodia at the request of
members of a special operations group operating out of Ha Tien." Thus is the
unverifiable statement issued by Kerry spokesman Michael Meehan. One has to
wonder if Meehan wanted to add, "And I never had sex with that woman, Monica
Lewinski,” just to see what it felt like.
Of course when speaking to the Boston Globe, Meehan added that because the
mission was so top, top secret there was no paperwork to confirm the claim
or verify any dates. It’s hard to believe that Meehan could stand in front
of the press corps and issue this statement with a straight face but then I
suppose that stands as testimony to the composition of the Kerry campaign
staff. From Mary Beth Cahill to Michael Meehan, the assembly of campaign
workers for the Kerry campaign is a conglomerate of the best snake oil sales
people in the country. Add George Soros to the mix and we might even be able
to say the conglomerate of spin is a global effort.
It should be mentioned that three crewmates of Kerry’s – two that support
him and one that doesn’t – insist that the Cambodian crossing never
happened. Michael Medeiros from Swift Boat 94 (who also claimed that Kerry
made sure all of his crewmates were transferred to non-life threatening
assignments before Kerry left Vietnam) said he could not recall dropping off
Special Forces in Cambodia or going inside Cambodia with Kerry. James Wasser,
who was with Kerry during Christmas of 1968 on Swift Boat 44, said they
never entered Cambodia. And Steve Gardner flatly accuses Kerry of lying
saying that Kerry was never closer than 50 miles from the Cambodian border.
For the benefit of the Kerry spin doctors I will state unequivocally that
these three people were on the same boats as John Kerry. I say this because
in the spin-doctor minds of the Kerry elite being on the same boat is
essential to knowing what happened even though swift boats worked in groups
and in close proximity to one another. As a reader pointed out to me, "If I
was on a street corner and saw a car accident but wasn’t in one of the cars
does that mean I didn’t see what happened?” It is obvious the spin about
having to be on the same boat to know what really happened in Kerry’s cases
is disingenuous at best and deceptive in reality. But what else is new?
While the media and leftist generated hate for George W. Bush runs high in
the more susceptibly nescient among the American populace it is in reality
the deceptive, evasive and disingenuous political practices of the Kerry
campaign, the liberal left and the liberal and completely mindless Hollywood
elite that deserve the ire, hatred and contempt of the American people. The
fact that the Kerry campaign and their compatriots believe they could
"handle” or grift the American people by releasing portions of files,
issuing unverifiable statements and asserting baseless charges while stating
opinions based not in fact but in deceptively constructed political spin is
beneath contempt. It is a slap to the face of the American people and we
should not stand for it. Haven’t we had enough of politicians asking us to
define the word "is” before they construct a "safe” and politically
advantageous answer? Especially to a yes or no question?
The American people deserve the truth from their presidential candidates not
edited information believed appropriate for the "masses.” John Kerry is
running for the highest office in the land and therefore should be as
transparent as is humanly possible. That goes for his wife Teresa as well.
The Kerry’s have to release all of their financial records and John Kerry
has to release all of his political committee records and military records;
top, top secret, military and otherwise. It is that simple.
The choice is clear, either Kerry stops deceiving the American people or he
loses by a landslide in November. Americans hate snake oil salesmen.
