As
the coalition forces bring freedom and a government of the people to Iraq
much light is being shed on some of the things that have taken place, and
are taking place here in the United States. Some of the things being
spotlighted in the media are the peace protests.
They are relentless in their conviction to the movement although the reasons
for their involvement are as personally disarrayed as anything that has ever
been seen. They are a rag-tag group comprised of ex-hippies from the 1960's
who are grasping at a piece of their youth to young college students who
haven't the cultivated the capacity to think the implications of their
action through. They are stopping traffic in major cities and in some cases
keeping emergency vehicles from reaching places such as hospitals and they
are attempting to block longshoremen from getting to work loading ships that
are would bring supplies for our troops in Iraq. In one instance they are
keeping people from reaching life saving emergency medical treatment and in
the other they are delaying much needed supplies, both military and
humanitarian, from their destination in Iraq. In both cases they are
abetting murder and terrorism and should be charged accordingly. But they
are truly organized and that's the funny part. For a group of
shallow-minded, tunnel-visioned malcontents they are amazingly organized.
In Spain and Italy the heads of state are battling socialist and communist
factions of the population who stood steadfastly opposed to the military
action in Iraq. They are fighting their extremism in the media and the media
is covering it. What is being uncovered is that the extremists over in Spain
and Italy are directly connected to their communist counter-parts here in
the United States. These factions are in a larger part the organizations
responsible for organizing the students lemming and the hippies post facto
in their efforts to undermind the support of our troops and the honorable
intentions of the president and his administration while denying the Iraqi
people their freedom and humanitarian aid and arguing about symantics.
I write this and cannot believe the words as I type them on the page. They
seem something out of a conspiracy theorists diary but the fact remains that
the accusations bear merit. A decade after the Cold War and there are still
factions of an era gone by who cling to failed ideals so much so that they
refuse to join the world as it moves forward. Instead of helping to free
millions of tortured and oppressed people (these are facts not theories) in
Iraq they would rather sit in their pseudo French styles cafes drinking
overpriced coffee which was harvested on the backs of Columbians making
fifty cents and hour while bitching about those who smoke cigarettes in
public places elsewhere. They serve no purpose but to be malcontents and
they have fallen prey to the ideals sympathetic with the world's communist
and socialist values.
And as they cling to their flawed ideals about the action being taken in
Iraq we are starting to witness the extremism of their malcontent. With one
loss under their belts they are starting to organize (or is this
organization influenced from the outside) in opposition to the re-election
of President Bush in 2004. Of course this just validates the
idea that the protests were anti-Bush protests in the first place and had no
merit beyond that.
Perhaps it is time that the alphabet media look into who is sponsoring these
so called peace rallies as the malcontents continue to obstruct coalition
efforts in a now free Iraq. It would be interesting how much funding and
organization came from the same factions that are being combated in Spain,
Italy and perhaps Cuba. It would be interesting to find out how well we
actually won the Cold War...
