Democrats have lost upwards of a thousand state legislature seats in the past four elections, giving Republicans control of both the House and Senate in two-thirds of the states in our country.
And Republicans now control all three federal branches and will be able to shape the Supreme Court for the next generation-plus.
The election results were nothing less that the coroner’s signature on the Democrat Party’s death warrant.
For starters, Democrats have built an ideological wall around their collective intellect that would be the envy of Trump supporters if it were on the Mexican border.
They start with a statement of politically motivated untruth, then proceed to build a truth-proof façade out of manufactured data and bought-and-paid for research conducted for the sole purpose of supporting a political agenda.
Ignoring analytical thinking and even the consideration, let alone acceptance, of legitimate data, that process was the foundation of the losing Democrat campaign.
Accepted leftist myths — from global warming to inequality of pay for men and women to the denial of the legitimacy of nationalistic government based on the people’s will and conducted for the good of American citizens — are among the foundational elements of a self-referential philosophy that has the Democrat Party committing political suicide.
It hasn’t been particularly challenging for Dems to build their monument to political falsehood. The public schools and the gulag archipelago of college campuses that inform the higher-education movement mean that for the most part students and academic officials are more than willing to pay obeisance to their political overlords.
As a result, we hear the most ignorant canards: Voters were sexist and misogynistic and for those reasons wouldn’t vote for a woman. Never mind that their assertion loses credibility given the fact that supposed anti-woman misogynist Donald Trump beat white women voters by ten points over Clinton.
In the meantime, Democrats say with a sigh, “Oh, for the day when we don’t have to depend on elections to select our leaders.”
Barack Obama’s conduct of the final years of his presidency was the last chance for the Democrat Party to impose dictatorial rule on the United States. In the president’s words, he was forced to use his pen and his phone and to rule by executive pronouncement in order to move his Party’s agenda forward.
In the process he also ordered dictatorially collusive federal agencies to restrict legitimate business and energy expansion while at the same time directing immigration agents not to obey U.S. law.
From his support of Islamic terrorism to his collusion with globalists intent on eliminating national borders and subjugating all the citizens of the world to the will of a global ruling class, Obama brought chaos to the world through his intentional destruction of the principles and practices that have made the United States the bellwether of freedom around the world.
Thanks in no small part to Donald Trump, it has finally become clear what the Democrats truly stand for and how important it is to put a stake in the heart of this venomous group.
Cupcakes and snowflakes do not an electorate make.
And substituting name-calling for political policy does not a candidacy create.
Given the fact that what’s left of it looks to be moving further toward radicalism as Islamist sympathizer Keith Ellison and committed leftist radicals Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders take over the spotlight, there’s nothing left for Dem supporters to do but to wait in the lobby of the ER tearfully, shouting obscenities as their party passes away.
The Democrat Party is on life support; its death is imminent.
