Fifteen Years On, What Would the Falling Man Think
FRANK SALVATO (6.5MN READ)
Fifteen years on from the attacks of September 11, 2001, and Osama bin Laden in dead. This serves as a symbolic victory in the war against Islamofascism. But the fact of the matter is we are less safe; more vulnerable to an attack by Islamic jihadists than we were eight years ago. The blame for this must be laid at the feet of the politically correct. We have withstood eight years of foreign policy that has seen the Middle East turn from volatile region with pockets of jihadist activity to a centralized location for Islamofascist tyranny. Sharia Law has been invoked, in many places at the tip of the sword. Christians are being slaughtered at will by Islamic State barbarians. And Iran, the most prominent nation state sponsor of terrorism in the world, is now a budding nuclear power – and a Shi'ite counter to the Saudi Sunni balance on the delicate scales of explosive jihad. We suffer these realities because of an American power vacuum courtesy of a squeamish and non-committal – and perhaps Islamofascist sympathetic – Obama Administration.
Clinton's Excuses Fall Outside the Realm of Plausible Deniability
The credibility of our government has been marginalized, and increasingly so for decades. The agenda-driven politicization of departments and agencies – government entities that are supposed to serve the people – has facilitated an all-encompassing bureaucracy loyal to elitist politicians over the American people. This corrupt, special interest-serving politicization has exploded in the almost eight-years of the Obama Administration. In an unbelievable explanation covered by the Washington Examiner, Hillary Clinton testified under sworn deposition to FBI agents that she believed the classified "C" markings on emails recovered from her private emails were there as a way to alphabetically order paragraphs. This information comes from an 11-page summary of the deposition, alongside 58 pages of notes from the FBI investigation into her illegal use of a private email server and email accounts. "When asked what the parenthetical ‘C' meant before a paragraph...Clinton stated she did not know and could only speculate it was referencing paragraphs marked in alphabetical order," the FBI cited from notes created taken during its interview with her.
The Meaning Behind
the 'Words Matter' Is
What Is Important
According to an article in the Huffington Post, Presidential hopeful Donald Trump's wife allegedly plagiarized Michelle Obama's speech using two lines. It is important to understand words in context. Michelle Malkin captured the real meaning behind Michelle Obama's words in an article Michelle Obama's America -and Mine.It is clear that the essence of the speeches were not even remotely similar. Melania spoke for about 17 minutes on how proud she was of our country. She highlighted the opportunities available to the citizens of the United States. Contrast that with Michelle's comments about how she was proud of our country for the 1st time in her life because her husband was the presidential nominee. These are two starkly different messages.
A Manufactured Divide
Ends In, 'I Want to Kill
The racial divide in this country, as it exists today, is completely manufactured. It is manufactured by the political and activist class, and for reasons symbiotic to one another. Politicians need to divide our nation so as to pit demographic against demographic; in order to create political party "battle lines." This is how they create an "us against them" scenario. True Statesmen and public servants seek to better the nation in ways that are good for all of the population, not just a sympathetic demographic. That does not exist in our country today. True government of and for the people is dead. Activists - mostly products of the victimhood and grievance class - need to divide to define special interest demographics, again to pit "us against them." It is how they attain power and influence, as well as wealth for their "movements." This is serious wealth. One need only look at the personal trappings of Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton to understand this. Are there bad cops? Yes. Are there good cops that make bad decisions? Yes. But these are anomalies, not the status quote as the fraudulent #BlackLiveMatter movement, race-baiters and the Obama Administration would have you believe. As a former first-responder I can tell you that even in the most remote locations, each day a man or woman puts on a badge to go to work, they simply want to do their jobs and come home to their families and friends. There is no other agenda than that. It is a goal. And sometimes, as in Dallas, that goal goes unachieved.
Independence Day: We Were Born on the Fourth of July
Independence Day in the United States – what some people call "the Fourth of July" – is a celebration of the Great American Experiment. This "experiment" has resulted in the global recognition of Natural Law Rights. It is a celebration an international understanding that man exists – at his core – as free, and that government exists to serve man, not the other way around. So, a definitive example of why the oppressive dogma of Islamofascism (read: Islam) exists anathema to the Western value of free societies comes in the form of the US Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, having to celebrate the anniversary of freedom 30 days prior to the date so as not to "interfere" with the Islamist month of Ramadan.
House GOP Bets on Tax Rate Cuts, 'Bold' Reform
If Republicans under Ryan can achieve this goal, Ryan will go down in history as a great economic force in American politics. The beginning of a shift from an income-based tax system to a consumption-based system is critical. The new proposal by Congressional Republicans would be a step in that direction...we simply have to force this through the political world. It could be our very last chance to right the wrong generations have foisted on the future...We all must refrain from trying to make this the perfect reform and simply support this "redirection"...
A New Progressive
The manipulation of words and phrases, and the cherry-picking of quotes, is a hallmark of the Progressive Movement. They have taken the liberty of redefining words and phrases, and even re-writing history – almost in real time, for decades. It is through this manipulation that Progressives – disguised at Democrats – took over the Democrat Party, moving that institution so far Left in such a short amount of time that the words of John F. Kennedy, if left unattributed, would be considered "Right-wing” by today’s standards. Love her or hate her, Ann Coulter has been calling the media on their hypocrisy for decades. Her latest column, Anyone Actually Hear Trump's Speech, taking the media to task over their disingenuous political coverage of the Orlando terror attack and the background and national origin of the Islamofascist responsible, unmasks a new tactic of the Progressive media.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
"Moral cowardice is fear of upholding the good because it is good, and fear of opposing the evil because it is evil." ~ Ayn Rand
"They're not offering serious solutions. They're just fanning resentment and blame and anger and hate." ~ Pres. Barack Obama projecting the Clinton campaign's tactics onto the Trump campaign.
